They sit on splintered stoops
sun setting in the hazy dust
coated with the days play
drooping daisies awaiting a breeze.

alas, Mo, the idea of having you as a captive conjures up memories of "The Ransom of Red Chief", a short story I read many years ago.....quite amusing.
