Touching Fate

Pieces of heart Bleed on glass shards Memoirs now start Verse from sad bard Line by line tell As feeling surge Pain seems to dwell On some odd verge Verse in stern fit Cuts sharp and deep Loss of bold wit Hits where tears weep Touch in plain strokes Hinge on brief binge Pain knows to poke On edgy fringe Feel the damp air Where sad turns bad A losing flair Prompts anger mad A forlorn face Loiters with sketch To plunder place In futile match Come to know truth In anxious form As if to proof A dying norm Too soon, too late That dying moan Fear claims due fate With final groan Leon Enriquez 01 April 2020 Singapore
