Touch and Go

The story remains untold until the music begins, The touch of the button and suddenly my body goes. While the eyes of the audience follow each move, Step by step, the story is told. Each word constructs a new motion, Letting my movement be the interpretation. I use the music to guide my feet, But without thinking, it all just flows. Now the story dies down, but I could keep going, Never wanting to end this moment. The music stops but, I hold onto the feeling, But why must it all end? Touch and Go April 8, 2021 Donna Moody
