Touch

The hand that reaches softly
May not be one that’s near
But belongs to one so distant
Yet still you hold so dear

For distance cannot suppress
The feelings that arise
By the hand that reaches softly
That makes you feel alive

Yes...long distance friendships, even love, can be as true as one sitting next to you. Nicely done, Michael! ~ Carrie
