Tossing Around In the Wind

i feel lost
in the dimness
of this day

my thoughts
stirring in this wind
ascending
then descending
in a spiral
of emotions
scattered
like these leaves
painting the ground
in drifts of red
i never cared for that color
nor this autumn air
i feel lost
within its grasp
