Tossing Around In the Wind

i feel lost in the dimness of this day my thoughts stirring in this wind ascending then descending in a spiral of emotions scattered like these leaves painting the ground in drifts of red i never cared for that color nor this autumn air i feel lost within its grasp

'that spiral of emotions (ascending and descending) -- Thank you for that. I was racking my brain, (please excuse the assumptions implicit in those five words), for such a phrase a week or two ago. Thanks for supplying it. Beautifully depicted, Sandra! Smiles, Gershon

Windy day in your part of the town--we are facing a bit of it here in Maryland also. I see the drifting red in your poem.

Sounds as if the weather and the season are not to your liking my friend. But somehow, when it is said poetically in your wonderful style, it doesn't seem so bad from here. Here's hoping the sun finds you and returns your smile to where it belongs. Beautifully done Sandy. Still, as if spoken in a whisper.
