Tossed And Turned

I'm saying to myself;
The trip is needful
But not mandatory.
Do I go, or do I stay?

I know that the cause
Is a worthy one, and the
Destination is a great one.
It's the journey that I hate.

I don't want to fly.
I try to be patient,
But I'm growing weary of airports;
And flight paths are brutal.

I don't want to drive.
I've grown averst to driving.
Rental reservation is no
Gurantee of getting the car.

I don't want bus or train;
Two years ago, a train trip
Involved an 8 hour layover.
That is too much pain.

I'm tossing by night
And turning by day;
And still saying to myself,
Do I go, or do I stay?

I think maybe you should stay. The universe is sending a message.
