Tornadic Anger

Fierce and destructive
Not as pleasant as one think
The terror of the clouds.

So much truth shared in just three lines. Yes, those tornados bring terror and destruction. Let's hope there aren't many this summer. Thank you for sharing your thoughts with us. Keep on writing. Karen

You are on a Haiku roll here, Elizabeth , so write onnnnnnn .... This excellent form reminds me of my boss's description of his former wife ,prior to their divorce ; " She was fierce and destructive , and when she left , she took the house " .....

Nice Haiku, Elizabeth. You capture the power of tornados very well! We have lots of them in North Florida and the destruction can be overwhelming. Lots are spawned by hurricanes, but some generate out of small storms. Love this poem! Carolyn
