Torn Glances

''''''''';;;;;;''''''''''

  *haiku: lady-love breaking up

      my parasol shrunk
      when it gathered black moss
      a torn canopy

         *tanka: man-in-love being rejected

            thinning moonlight stoops
as do love’s perfume turned clay
            clutching last gazes
            of fruit’s anticipation
now i send notes with chilled thorns

love can also be broken, and perhaps mended over time..:)
