Top of Sunny Jungfrau
It is a scene never to be forgotten
up on the mountainous Switzerland
what a glorious sight to behold
in my memory it will always stand
There I was on mighty Jungfrau
it was during the month of July
this was highest peak I had been
never knew anything was so high
Surrounded all around I was
by beautiful pure white snow
up to it above my knees
many a snowball I did throw
Looking up to the blue sky
there it was such glorious sun
such warmth in midst of snow
amazing indeed this was fun
This was indeed so wonderful
the most beautiful thing I’ve seen
what a picture what a photograph
so thankful to God I had been
(In the early 90s was on holiday in Bernese Oberland in Switzerland and had opportunity to go up the Jungfrau by train, what a sight and what beauty!)
