Toodeloo Foot
Withstrained I have long been,
By the chain of ignorance.
My brain and my whole being,
Held by the bolt of cognitive hindrance.
This shackles of darkness,
I strove to whittle out from,
To quench this dire thirst for awareness,
Whatever it takes; even if I deform.
And with an insane resolve,
One I never knew I could muster,
This foot I now absolve,
From its fetters; it growled like a monster.
On this mighty pen, I shall lean,
I would rather it doubles as a crutch,
And for every word I shall learn,
It be both the writer and my clutch.
