Too Many Birds

Swans and geese are in the parlor, a toucan is in the hall.
An ostrich just ran past the kitchen, he is at least six feet tall
A flamingo strut her feathers against the conservatory wall
The peacock is eating your breakfast dear. I’m going to the mall.

What I see when I read this poem was fantastic. I just posted an acrostic poem called FEATHERS. It makes me think of this one a little. What do peacocks eat for breakfast? We are a big bird family. I can't wait to share this one w/ my husband. I bought him a bird feeder for Christmas. You are so darn funny.

Thank you Marikate. The kids at school keep saying this; I do not see it myself, but my mother was hilarious!
