Too Late

One day in his presence I will stand

Just as I am

To bear all with sorrow and regret

No plea shall there be offered for me

Love alone paid the cost for my sin to atone

but to blood guilt I refuse to own

Through dimmed, tear filled eyes I await

A witness against me now I cannot escape

The familiar voice which often did sweetly call

my name HE could not recall.

Resigned to my eternal fate, Hell for me awaits.

Please don’t make my mistake

This is a strong write. The line "to bear all with sorrow and regret" really struck a chord with me.

Dear poetess, when you leave your body in death, your spirit person is what will appear to our lord. Many regrets and need to just in any words, sometimes informal, Jesus would NEVER forsake you, if you accept he is Lord. Talk to Him. He is my best friend I share my tears, and I praise Him for them too, in gladness too!
