Tonight
Will you dance with me tonight?
Can we share a moment of fun and joy
just be together in an innocent way?
And have nothing to hide?
Can we talk all night long?
Learning more about each other
Feels like I can trust again
Like I can make new good friends
Will you tell me all your secrets?
I will tell you my dreams
We can watch the stars dance across the sky
Poetry flowing from our minds
Can I look you straight in the eyes
And know we'll be friends tomorrow?
I really think I can
So may I have this dance, friend?
