Tom
My dear friends on the Soup,
where so much talent,
is always brewing,
in this wonderful group.
Let us all that knew Tom Bell,
remember him,
in our hearts,
and with rhyme as well.
Everyone post a poem,
on what he left us with,
his passion for music,
and poetry, and charming wit.
To me he was my sunshine,
my friend so far away,
we talked of moonlight madness,
a place where poets play.
"Goodnight Moon," he would tell me
every time he had to leave,
one of his favorite songs,
by Shivaree.
