Tolerance Must Tolerate Intolerance
By creating freedom you create diversity
for this to work you cannot take things personally
the law allows equal freedom in society
only to work if minds allow leniency.
Tolerance must tolerate intolerance,
accept the ways found in divergence,
understand opinions,
the reasons they form,
understand beliefs differ
and this is the norm.
Never can you say this cannot be tolerated,
when you say this you are not being tolerant,
finding offence when you should realise understanding,
as their perspective exists because of their subjective standing,
and
subjective thinking is a thing of freedom,
freedom can only exist if there is tolerance towards what you subjectively believe is intolerance,
the vast dissimilarity must be understood
if our gift of freedom works for good.
You don't have to like the unlikeness
but all alike must tolerate those not like us.
Don't spite or hate,
understand and tolerate,
people are entitled to their stupid opinion,
however different,
respect and tolerate.
Tolerance must tolerate intolerance,
not because intolerance is right or wrong
but because freedom is a spectrum
allowing subjective perspectives to form.
Their belief is theirs,
understand why they have it,
and you will understand it’s just their way,
learn to let it go as a habit.
Understand the Roman Catholics see different to the gays,
it’s not an attack don’t take it sly,
not all religious faithful freely and consciously choose their belief,
influenced when young,
all they've known when grown,
accepting it as what they are as it's all they've known,
so subjectively speaking it's not a belief they choose, as is gay,
whilst some do choose religion, it's their freedom, respect their way,
tolerate with understanding as to why you see the world through a different eye,
because this is freedom,
and this is tolerance.
With the freedom to speak is the freedom to stay silent,
the freedom to acknowledge allows the freedom to ignore,
unity through diversity,
accept with tolerance there is your perspective as well as many more
and respect this over taking offence and feeling sore.
To not tolerate intolerance whilst saying there should be tolerance is intolerant,
tolerate intolerance with understanding, it's your freedom, your right,
it's what is right, there is no such thing as a victim of intolerance.
