Together We Can Make a Difference

plastic bottle floats 
sea shore strewn with man’s debris ...
beach buddies conceived

Beach Buddies is a charity set up by a man called Bill Dale, he organises regular beach cleaning events and companies sponsor huge orange litter bins so our beaches can be cleaned up. Our beaches are now the cleanest they've been in the last 30 years. The charity has been asked to help set up other beach cleaning groups in UK and Italy and is also spreading the message by giving presentation to universities in the USA

Every bracelet represents one kilo of trashed cleaned from the sea. ;) She posted mine to me in the mail today. On our island we have similar groups, albeit on a smaller scale; they give a good example to those who carelessly ruin the environment.
