Today's Tomorrow Again

Today is tomorrow again
Again tomorrow is today
Make it go away,
Lord please comes here, today
Have your way

Sunday, morning
And I still need someone to show me the way;
Because the girl I loved has gone away;
She’s gone
I’m alone
She’s gone
Help me God
Today is tomorrow again;

And I really loved her;
And I really love, love, loved her;
But when I needed her she packed her clothes and gone, gone away

Today is tomorrow again
Again tomorrow is today
Make it go away,
Lord please comes here, today
Have your way

Monday evening IT’s a new week and, I haven’t found her yet; And I believe that she has gone out and met; Another love Someone else to love Some other black brother Done went out and copped herself another boy friend OH, I sit down and cry; Yes, asking myself why oh why; I’m wondering Why she went, why she’d go I go outside in the rain Running up and down the street feeling so ashamed That every new girl I meet is wearing the same; Perfume that I gave the one that ran away, singing in the rain; I fancy this little children playing in the streets; While in the trees robins and sparrows sing tweet-tweet; I’m just playing in the rain; Engaged in some sort of wonderful silly game I keep saying to myself when I needed a love , a friend oh, when I really needed a friend— Today tomorrow again;
