Today's Silent Screams

Today’s silent screams end up as tomorrow’s unshed, angry, inside tears,
And they effect a variety of people.
Today’s sadness and depression compounds yesterdays’ misery,
Breaking people down,
Reducing communication.
Today’s angry attitudes cause road rage, and drive by shootings,

Today can only be lived once, but it can change everything.
Today, reach out to one person.
You might not find out for years,
You might never find out,
But if you do reach out,
To one person,
Only one.

It might make the world a better place.
Knowing it now does not matter a whit anyway.
When you get to heaven and your spirit guides open your book of today’s
That’s when it will matter.

We gave you all of these todays, they say.
And you did not change anything.
What say you?

This is so profound, my friend! Especially like "Today can only be lived once" and. "We gave you all these todays", great stuff!

Thank you Michelle. I see people waste a day, and I am so sad for them, especially when they are five or six, and have no fun at all.

Well said! It amazes me all the unspoken things that people are dealing with on a daily basis... and if we interact at all, we are either adding to or lessening their burden. Good stuff!
