Today's Dreams - Tomorrow's Find

If life were but a simple chart laid out for us to follow, the lovely dreams that fill each heart, would never see tomorrow. Oh, hidden dreams so tucked away in the deep darkness, of our minds- we never know which ones- someday become tomorrow's happy finds. We drift along- blindly at times, accepting what we see in-store; when suddenly, a doorbell chimes that leads us to a brighter shore. So, live life with its routine schemes, within its moments, bright or gray; but leave unlocked your door of dreams- for one may call on you someday

A clearly written and appealing poem. I love the concept of the unseen dream revealed by the unexpected doorbell. (Let’s hope it isn’t a ‘Person from Porlock’ who interrupted Coleridge’s dream of Xanadu). Nice one, Sandra.
