Today She Broke
Today her levy broke
It gave way
It spilled
Over time the weight of the water
Became to much
To much damage
To much neglect
To much putting up with passing currents
Slowly the water eroded her barriers away
All that remains is a destruction of sorts
A psnami of chaos
Not of her choice
Pressure on her without any help
Has always spelled danger
Today she released the pressure
Today she found peace
