Today Only

Don't live life for yesterdays
they have come and gone
live life for the joys of today
for we do not know when life is done
stop thinking
it is alright not to know answers
learn to dream
take and make the most of it
sometimes we stumble and fall
we all have those moments
do not give way to doubt
live for today in every way.

I love this. I do not live in the past but I have a problem with "not knowing answers" It just bothers me that some people feel their beliefs are solidly right when they do not really have the proof of it. Anyway, a super good poem.

That is so true Phyl. If we are constantly living in the past we are not progressing or learning new things...like how to communicate in our modern world. I fought using a computer until I was told I would not be paid unless I imputed my work sheets in the computer. Everyone dreaded it and we all tried to help each other out. If you don't speak in computer language youth make fun of you and it is hard to communicate with them. A very wise poem indeed. I am glad you are doing well my friend. xxoo

I agree we have to keep learning new things and progressing with this fast paced world. Hope you are getting around good now and your knee is completely healed. I get my stitches out on the 13th and healing fine. love phyl
