Today Is a Good Day
Today is a good day
A day of pleasant thoughts
Of memories where rough decisions were made
Hard and painful yet so accurate and true
Today is a good day
Were old friends remember together
Remember all the decisions and tears too
Where the house is small but warm
And the dog old but resting nearby
He feels it too, a good day]
The clouds have opened to the sun
The sky as turned sapphire blue
A day and chai is waiting
Perhaps a book or two
For today is a good day
