I've finished reading parts 1 thru 6 and it is such a poignant reminder of the reality of life. I couldn't help but think of my mother knowing the she had to learn these lessons as well. Thank you for sharing. John

Absolutely, John. As I was living this, I too was thinking of my mother who had been through so much with my dad, lived through his decline, then poof one day gone out of her life. Thank you for reading 1-6. Most appreciated ~

This is a most vulnerable and authentic work in what must be a very difficult time for you. Yet you bravely open up and share yourself at this most consequential time for you. My heart goes out to you. You have always been so kindhearted to me. Time now for myself and others to send loving-kindness to you. You have many here and at AP who care for you both as a poet and a fine person. Be well dear poetess.

Your poem is beautifully written, Line. I hope you are holding up under all this stress. I'm sorry for your loss and hope Christmas isn't too hard. My brother's wife died Saturday of cancer. And many people have lost loved ones to Covid. My sympathies and prayers are with you, Line. Love, Carolyn

There is a book that helps. "How to Survive the Loss of a Love" helped me when my mother died. Maybe it would help you too. It's written by two doctors and a poet.
