Today I Learn To Be a Widow, Lesson 6

lesson six


some days i’ll be up ready to go
and i’ll have a productive day
sometimes it won’t be so
i shouldn’t be hard on myself
go with the flow
life’s a roller coaster
it’s natural to feel low
and to be expected

when i look around my studio
sometimes i’ll have it all together
and agree to put on a show
other times i may feel
like i’m overcome with woe
i’ll have to ride it out
life’s one big rodeo
roll with the punches
go with the flow
always remember to
follow your rainbow

My brother's wife died Saturday of cancer. And many people have lost loved ones to Covid. My sympathies and prayers are with you, Line. Maybe it would help you too. It's written by two doctors and a poet.
