Today and Time Past

TODAY AND TIME PAST I feel the wind SWEEP up the brae: SWEEP I my gaze into far ago. FAR the stars of Christmas are, long away CHRISTMAS some two thousand years or so. YEAR’S darkest evening is here. HERE is my family - safe from harm. FAMILY hands reach for the warming fire, HANDS at travail in this hill farm. (For Dr. Ram Mehta’s contest CHRISTMAS WREATH)
