To Walk In the Midnight Moon
To walk in the midnight moon, so clearly
It is the morning sweet pea light that’s drear
Behold the dawn shall arrive too early
For I just want to walk through worlds right here
The dewy grasses cling to my bare feet
To welcome me into the moonlight pure
Oh beauty of the sky I hope we meet
Your midnight silvery moonbeams are my cure
My lady, I must thank you for my peace
I stand within you glorious soft hands
Can I hope to wish this moment won’t cease
I can keep some peace for me in these lands
But I am awake now sweet lady
As you go to sleep my world turns shady
