To Veera-My Puppy

My eyes search under the table

And rove behind the chair

They flick over the cot

And into the cupboard peer.

They climb up the stairs

Leading to attic dark

Are you there some where?

In the corner crouching, they ask

Do not stay away from my sight

For too long O little one

For your absence frightens me

And my peace of mind is undone

Pets love to hide and their owners obsessively seek...they are treasures well worth all our efforts. Nicely written.
