Oh, if they could understand our love
They would see what I see in your eyes 
Ev’ry star that lights the sky above
Not the diff’rent worlds our love belies

Touch, peerless in nature, taunts the dove

Purring softness, I can but dream of

Stallions such as I, cannot disguise

Notions of my soul, my heart complies
