To those who are transphobic POTD

You who throw stones
Held so tightly in your hand
Like it is your all
Your pride

Your hands are bloody
Because you are a sinner
You are a sinner, and you throw the first stones

Stones that come in words and pain
Whether you were the ones who shouted total trans death
Or the ones who wish pain
Or the ones who support a militia divided

You thereby mind me as level with the pigs
And it is sad
I pray for you
For my God said love thy neighbor

To you who hate so many minorities
A sad message I unfold
For those who wish to make decisions for my very own body
And those who are so bold
Racists or prejudice, those guilty of misogyny

You yourselves
Are the faulty minority

Luna, you wrote a powerful poem. Pay no attention to the bullies and trolls on here who just can't wait to throw negative comments and are very close minded with much ignorance!

Dear Luna, Congratulations on your POTD with it's important message. It's truly sad that some can't get out of that judgement zone and learn to see people individually, as a part of that wonderful colorful fabric that makes up humanity. Enjoy your honor..

Live and let live is the way I see it, everyone should be allowed to be the way they wish and are comfortable with. Well said Luna, congratulations on receiving the honour of poem of the day… Beryl

Hello Luna, congratulations on the poem of the day! A sad message you unfold and one that needed to be told. I posted on my banned book club VI "All Boys Aren't Blue" Y/A on the cause best seller banned, the author is amazing, his memoirs begin at age 12, bullying. Like your "To The Kids" it's an important lesson to children, but epically now, a lot of adults might need the bigger picture! I agree! A book like this presents an insight into the human nature of those who lack compassion and tolerance. Happy St. Paddy's Day!

Thanks, Anaya. Book banning is a shame and hopefully someday knowledge and perspectives may freely be spread with peace all across the globe. Have a great St. Patrick's day, too.

Some countries accept this, others do not. Such is as it is. An important and relevant message, you’ve penned, Luna. Congratulations on POTD.

It is most interesting because I can see how difficult it would be for a country to accept something hardly anyone feels, or could even believe it is fake. Thank you, have a good day.

Bravo for writing this Luna - so many are prejudiced on this matter and LGBQT in general. I LOVE the fact you quoted 'love your neighbour' I think this poem will open folks eyes - I see such bigotry and hypocrisy when bible thumpers start preaching on this theme! hugs jan xx

I love your reply, live and let live is my attitude and i see so much bigotry and hypocrisy here with religion - no wonder i have no faith!

Thank you, Jan. An issue in this attitude is that they truly believe they are an invincible majority, and this poem is to pick that away. I realized I myself have my own way of speaking out about this, even if it is a small way.
