To the Moon
Usually after the sun's disappear
weary birds return their nests,
tired workers close day-works
all get back respective home,
the house wives make dinner
silently the night falls on them
and on the soft grey earth
closing and opening another part.
Then in the far vast blue sky
you appear as an ever lamp
to start on burning yourself
to shine dark and mortal earth
with your silvery cool light
for the whole and long night,
as a guard rounds the ground
oh! you are lonely destined.
People think of that is for
the rules of eternal system,
but I ask you some questions
whom are you looking for?
in the wilderness of the earth,
why are you conservative?
of the light of your other side,
why do you swell the seas?
The seas roar on the beach,
why do you wrong yourself?
in expanding and reducing.
how long are you there? when
lots of stars, meteors, fall down
you are alone for long waiting
with austere attempt as a saint
where is your companion?
to share your inner bitter pain.
You see here some real facts
in your silvery lean and light
grey owls hunt feared rats,
black bats eat laboured fruits,
white swans flirt in old pond
odd nocturnal birds fly away
flapping their long weary wings.
You hear rivers sweet murmur
but monstrous seas cruelly roar,
you see hungry high waves
constantly fall on the beaches;
your companion has been taken
and killed by the hungry ocean
so, you see only the ghost of her
but you will get no one, no more.
