To the Looser who Lost Out

I reflect on the days- Her first little steps, those tiny feet chasing dreams. Her doing silly little dances on the floor, She'd giggle, then stumble, then laughter galore. You weren’t there when she climbed the school bus stairs. Smiling like sunshine with a lunchbox in hand, ready to conquer the world before the world even knew her. You never saw the fire in her eyes the first time her bike took flight. No training wheels. No hand to catch her. She didn’t need one. She had wings. You missed her learning to drive, not just a car—but her life. She took the wheel with grace and grit, power in her hands, destiny in her rearview. She is beauty. But not the kind that fades. She is the kind that commands a room, shifts the air, and silences fools. She’s elegance carved in steel, sweetness with an iron spine. Everyone who meets her loves her. Because she’s unforgettable. Unshakable. Unapologetically radiant. She is everything you weren't there for— and more. Smart, strong, thoughtful, the kind of daughter who makes this broken world feel whole again She’s not just my daughter. She’s a force. A queen. The kind of woman people write legends about. Her heart is a garden, and love’s all she grows. In this tapestry of life woven of joy and of pain, She’s the brightest of colors, the sun after rain. Her name? Emilee Jade. And if you had been there— if you’d tried to shape her— maybe she wouldn’t have become this fierce, brilliant, unstoppable soul. So maybe, just maybe, your absence was the greatest gift. Your silence gave her the mic. Your weakness built her strength. So thank you for being the man that you are, For stepping away, for leaving a scar. Because in doing nothing, you gave her everything.. Your loss, has molded her into the best. She didn’t need you. She never did. But the world sure as hell needs more like her.
