To See Sea Sheep
Once wading through a rising tide
Against a bloody red suns glare
What should I see grazing on algae
But several sea sheep were there!
I'm not sure how many there were
Not that the water was too deep
But when I tried to count them all
It made me want to fall asleep!
I looked closer and saw a scuffle
Of which at first, I was not aware
I was surprised to see before me
A sea wolf in sheep's clothing there!
I've not seen the sea sheep again
Since the sea wolf made his attack
But I did see a sea wolf huff and puff
And blow a snails home off its back!
