A million ponds of regret with lily pads of hope,
The strongest shoulder to lean on when there's just too much to cope,
My favorite photograph of the spark of life in dance and the moment that I jumped into my world and breathed the breath of chance.
There's gentle souls to hold onto and memories to cherish, and the hope that all the loves I've loved will never ever perish.
My heart is stronger now, tonight, than all the years I've walked on through ~ it's solid like the granite earth and freely will continue...
Continue on like frozen spring awaiting the month of May,
Continue on like sweetened love, and the solace when I pray.
Continue on despite the loss of other halves and care-free laughs and all the things that made me, me before I felt my spirit flee.
I'll rise up to each occasion you taught me to rise up to.
I'll hug all of those kindred souls that I should give a hug to. Keep me sweet and unembittered and help my saddened soul remember...
Life is not a losing battle ~ it's all how are our dreams unravel...
