To My Stepdad

You have meant the world to me
Brave, with no care in the world
The biggest heart
Always looked out for us
Mainly me
Anything I needed
You seen something in me
My smarts
My decisions
You always had my back
When I had children
They became like your own
It was appreciated 
Like you would never know
I never can thank you enough
You saved me from the hood
A bad lifestyle
The worst experiences 
Since I was born
Until the day we met
I've been through the worst times
You came in and saved my day
Stepped in as the dad I needed
My life would be different
Thank you in every way
Night after night 
I prayed that you stood around 
Until the end of time
We were far apart 
In distance
We will always be close 
In my heart
You are a huge part of me
Thank you so much
You may not know it
I love you for it!!!!
