To My Mother

Oh, mother how beautiful you are Your heart that rested on me Constant arms that cared for me And the smile that gave me peace Like a bird that tirelessly feeds its own Flying away to search for food with love Risking vagaries of traps and weather You never left me in hunger Loving mother, your heart is the beauty That I can find nowhere in this world No flower can rival your splendor No creature on earth can rival your role Mother, I’m grateful for the warm love Nothing under the sun is more precious
