To My Children

Everyday my heart hurts and everyday my heart cries Everyday without them a piece of my heart dies. They are the half that makes me whole that makes my life complete They are the reason I wake up and the reason my heart beats. I often talk to God just to make it through the day He tells them mommy loves them and misses them more each day. I ask God everyday to comfort all of their fears To kiss their little cheeks for me and when they cry please wipe their tears. If I could wrap my arms around them I swear I'd never let go again And that day is coming because I won't give up until I win!
