To Men : Is This Love

At height of passion he said I love you
Without meaning the word of it
When she was sick, it was life as usual for him
Up in the morning off to office
He would not take leave for help her in her work
Even when he had leave, he would only demand from her
Food and service
When she was in pain he merely smiled
He never show true concern
It was as if she was a machine, a robot

Is this love? tell me!
Why are men so heartless?
If you are heartless at least don't talk of love
It stings more than actions!

Its more in subcontinent than here in the west, but yes, there are men who dont appreciate wives, but there are also women who dont appreciate their husbands

Don't know about west but many Indian wives would agree with what I wrote. You are right about many good husband's and bad wives. Have seen many such cases. This was meant for bad males, In case there are heartless males reading this I just wanted them to understand they are wrong. Thanks for taking time out to comment. Have a great day ahead. Regards Rama.

Men have difficulty expressing their emotions, but this does not seem like love..

It is not and unfortunately many men are like this. I understand men have difficulty expressing their emotions but they can show it in actions. Who wants flowery language but atleast help your wife when she needs it. Listen when she wants to say something. Men take wife for granted. I can do whatever I want and get away with it because I earn. How many care for emotions of wife, her happiness?
