To love
I see you everyday
From the halls of the school
In the real world
To the deep recesses of my mind
I see you in the warm embrace of two people
I see you in the morning sky
The midnight moon
I see you meet people
Bring people together
And leave people
I’ve seen you in pain
In Joy
Smiling and laughing
Frowning and down
I remember your eyes
The sent of your hair
The warm glow of your skin
Your warm embrace
Everyday, I remember all these things
See all these things
Hear them all
Miss them all
What do I feel?
I feel the pain
The sorrow
The hurt
I miss your presence in my life
The joy you brought in the mornings
When I looked forward to your presence
I walk nervously
I put on a stern face
And push you down
I push the emotions down
And down
And down
Until it bursts back up
And it comes back in a flood
A Flood of pain
Hurt
Sorrow and mourn
Nobody will ever see it
Nobody cares about it
Their all off with you
Enjoying your presence
Your being
And purpose
The important purpose you bring in life
The purpose of bringing pure
Innocent new beings to this world
To get back up and look for you again
Seems futile
Seems like it’ll always be a failure
But I’ve got to
Because you are not permanent
You will not wait for me
You will always move on
And you are always ready to take me back
You’re always there to help me meet new people
To bring me together with another person
Just for us to leave each other again
I see you everywhere
But never can I find you
And when I do, you don’t stick around for long
So tell me why
That on today, Valentines day
Where I will see you everywhere I go
That I cannot find you
I cannot find love
