To Leave All Cares Behind

When my mind yearns to leave all cares behind
In a moment of blithe joy and serenity
A calm soothing profound peace it would find
As soul would soak in a stream of tranquility

In a moment of blithe joy and serenity
Mind is light as it weaves thoughts nonchalant
As soul would soak in a stream of tranquility
Elated, ecstatic and jubilant

Mind is light as it weaves thoughts nonchalant
As soul soars in a moment without a purpose
Elated, ecstatic, and jubilant
I sense a smooth placid stillness and repose

As soul soars in a moment without a purpose
A calm soothing profound peace it would find
I sense a smooth placid stillness and repose
When my mind yearns to leave all cares behind
