To Jim

Up and down we go.
A depressive state but you seem to love the verbal flow.
You laugh and say my ornateness makes me rhyme.
I will leave you a kiss when I say goodbye.

Metaphorical you are.
You are the great philosopher.
High-strung and low-keyed is your talk.
I will be the first to walk.

It is just plain to see when love is not to be.
Although great as sex partners, I do not want to be free.
You seem to be objective to a f*** and not real to love.
When I say goodbye, no tears do I have to cry.

Of course, mountains I will climb.
Peak an incline to suppress my desires.
"Do we have a chance?"
I know this is a question you will never ask.
"Is it for sure that our partnership ends?"
I want more Jim.

Congratulations Verlena on your win. I enjoyed reading it but am saddened that it IS sometimes hard to get out of such relationships. It seems Our love, or good sex makes us put up with to many down times.

I do not desire sex without love, the two must be united for me, I empathize with you Verlena. Although you do not elaborate on your personality in this poem, oddly, you two seem inspired by eachother. You do a great job of conveying the pain of disillusionment, and expressing your wants Verlena...J.A.B.

Thanks Justin for seeing through the vagueness I present. However, this is not a personal experience directly. Only indirectly does this exist. Verlena

Sometimes we just need a good F*** and if we find love in the process that is the ultimate prize. I enjoyed this provocative write Verlena.

In the meantime Rick, I want to be love to. Provocative, well that is probably true. Sending a smile, Verlena.
