To Find the Words

When from the dark our time recedes,
          Re-writing poems from the past;
          Lift our pen till faith concedes,
          A tender lyric that holds fast.

          Put into words that all might hear,
          A sonnet that rings true;
          A rhyme that shines from love so clear;
          It could only come from you.
