Notes About The Poem

All worldviews are religious. Religion is defined as a belief system. Atheists will say that atheism is the absense of a belief. OK. So whatever atheisic view (naturalism, humanism, utilitarianism or whatever belief system you choose) will lead to absurdity in reasoning. To the impossibility of the contrary no worldview but the Christian view can make sense of logic, reason and knowledge when you do a side by side critique. I refer to Dr. Bertrand Russell [1872-1970] and his comments about why he cannot be a Christian. Doulos is traslated a "slave or servant". Cosco Aleman is translated as "German helmet". For rhythm sake I switched cosco Aleman to Aleman cosco. I know that is an improper translation.

To Doctor Russell

A freeman’s worship is akin to a one-night stand courtship
(We become a doulos to be free this is an irony of Christianity)
Christians are accused of an emotional Christianity
But Dr. Russell hates God, that’s emotional insanity
Dr. Russell says there is no objective foundation for absolute values
Yet he turns and accuses Christians as if there are these values
Are you absolutely sure Dr. Russell that there is no absolute standard?
Please speak in the microphone, please use candor
Your struggle au contraire Dr. Russell
Makes you nothing more than a philosophical love muscle

P.S.
In this psychological tussle
You may be called an Aleman casco
Lalochezia is thus defined
That I can utter curse words to ease my mind
