To Big Floyd

His killer killed all of us with his ugly knee, He took from us what was considered our rights, He went out to spread hate, instead of protection, Him in his ugly uniform waved goodbye to all of humanity. His crime Was being peaceful, Without a knife or a gun, Just with a beautiful smile, And a light spreading from his chest, His message was loud and shiny, His pure eyes were spreading kindness, His mistake was as we all knew, none. George with angelic face with his soft voice said “Despite all the hate of race, I’m leading you to a road of light, Follow my path and make your breath louder than their guns”.

With tears I read your words, dear poet! When will the hatred, racism and violence end? Your pen is mighty writing from a place of love and humanity. Keep sharing your heart..blessings, Rhonda
