To Become....The Best
Little boy....what do you think
as you wrestle and play with all your things
life for you is a wonderous contest
competitive nature has put to test....
Little girl....what do you dream
charming prince shall twinkle and gleam
primp and pose as porcelain doll
visual artistry enthralling all.....
Little boy....what will you do
when contest blue,you appear to lose
Little girl....how about you
when your prince is alarming,and not so charming
Little boys and little girls
will grow from what they allow in their world
bigger dreams or bigger problems
......understanding will help us solve 'em
Imaginary mountains we climb
in hope to reach our peak in time
but...even a mountain is slow to grow
then reduced to sand..... from the winds that blow
constant change will forever test
our strength of will....to become the best
