To Be Free

a heartache,
who can tell how much it hurts?
can't really remember when it begins?
but it lingers a life time. i guess.

like living in a space
hollow and empty
though it's a crowd universe
but you feel all alone

it's like having a heart but you cannot feel
having this mind but you cannot trust
what do you have left,
if you're standing on the edge of sorrow

blind of the future
blind for direction
living in confusions
everyday

hold me dear angels
from falling, from despair
fly me to a place
where i can live
without worries and tears

wanted to be able to stand
wanted to be able to speak
wanted to be able to hold
without being told

wanted to shout out loud
yell into the opened sky
i just want to be free
as a being with a certain life.
