To Be Cold Or Not To Be Cold
That is the question
We sit and contemplate the cold outside
Plan is to walk, out there, outside, and there is it a cold day indeed
So here we sit, inside, warm, comfortable, protected
And we make going out noises, try to affirm our want to go
Yet not making much effort, each passing moment maybe a further determination
Faces looking skeptical, observing trees waving in a wind we know is colder than in our cosy house
She sees others out there and compares their resolve with our lack
We know that we shall, must, will, be brave
A pile of extra clothes put on, trying to transfer our warm protection to out there
Yet be cold we must, no option but to sally forth
Such a difficult thing to do, is this making of decision
We shall after all go out and embrace to cold, wild, winter and put it off no longer.
