To Be Close To Him

Feeling pulled muscles :(
Some elderly always ache!
Now I feel their pain :(

It hurts to get up
To sit, stand, walk, bend, or move
How long will this last

Venting though this poem
Helps me cope with everything
I don't mean to whine

Still, I can do stuff
My chores, reading, writing, Prayer
Cook, meditate, smile

I sure hope and pray
My aches and pains will leave me
Praying for healing

I'm resting, stretching
Doing easy exercise
I'm hanging in there

It's nothing! Compared --
-- to His hanging on the Cross!
Extreme aches and pains :(

Sharing Suffering
Is an opportunity
To be close to Him

Close enough to kiss
--As Mother Teresa said--
A Kiss from the Cross

This just in: Update
I'm better (thanks be to God)
Full recovery! :)

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"You have searched me, LORD, and you know me. You know when I sit and when I rise; you perceive my thoughts from afar. You discern my going out and my lying down; You are familiar with all my ways. Before a word is on my tongue You, LORD, know it completely. You hem me in behind and before, and You lay your hand upon me. Such knowledge is too wonderful for me, too lofty for me to attain. (Psalms 139:1-6. NIV)
