To Assert Their Love
He and she are meant to be
Both minds articulate, a compatibility
So much affection, but neither assert
Both seem afraid of getting hurt
Take a chance with Cupid’s bow
If they do not try, they will never know
It is better to have closure, knowing you did your part
Than to stay around thinking with an open heart
Ignorance is not bliss because they would have much less
They should rather take the chance and pursue that happiness
As two birds, sing as they rest
As two lions, roar before they rest
The two of them are meant to be
Stop the dreams and make it a reality.
