Maiden Voyage
Destination: Southampton, UK
Superior Titanical passenger ship
Ocean breezes
Journeying through an open mind
From the Wealthy to the poor
Titanic pulls away from the pier
It is being maneuvered by tugboats
Anchors away mates
Excitement in stored
Food, Music and Dance
Love affairs that blossomed
Romance being the highlight in the Moon light
Night Stars that watched
Smooth and calm
Cruising fine at first
Suddenly disaster strikes
Unexpected event
The Titanic hits an iceberg
At least that is what history says, but others believe that the Titanic was hit by a missile of some sort
Oceans deep below
Was the Titanic destined to be destroyed?
The Titanic Captain was concerned for the survival of the passengers
He then ordered women and children to prepare to embark on the lifeboats
The Titanic was steadily sinking to the oceans below
One distinguished wealthy couple were on board, and they were IDA and ISIDORE STRAUS who were business partners to Mr. R.H. Macy himself of the Macy’s Department Store
It was time for the women and children to speedily board the lifeboats
However, Ida Straus declined and wanted to be with her husband
These were her last words, “We were married together and we shall die together”
True love sea ward
The Titanic went down for the last time into Davey’s Locker
Lives loss with no accountability of the departed.
Ocean deep, the Titanic was no more
Soul’s voyaged into Heaven beyond the eyes no one can see nor hear
I had the pleasure and honor in having a descendant of Ida and Isidore Straus being the Grandson, Kenneth Straus who was the CEO for R.H. MACY CORPORATE BUYING at Herald Square flagship on the 14th Floor
Tears fall from my eyes
The skies and oceans wise
Ghostly finale
My Soul to thee.
