Tipsy

Tipsy, tipsy, trying to walk First, I lost all my balance… Then, I lost some words Now, I can walk, but tipsy all the time A partial stroke, will do this Then, it is realized very quickly - Just how important balance is - *If my words come out wrong in poems at all, this is why. Heidi Sands 2/6/20

I have poor balance from a brain bleed a year ago. I use a walker at night. I still say the wrong word at the end of a sentence too, but I catch myself and correct it. Unless you have our problem it's hard for others to understand. I have a companion in you. Your writing makes me smile. You can write lovely poetry, and that means you're still "working" God bless you, and one day at a time.

My dear Heidi, I am so sorry to hear of your recent health problems and I send to you positive energy from the UK. I too have balance problems and loss of words because of Parkinson's, so I can understand your frustration. I always love your poetry Heidi, so keep on doing what you do, painting a picture with your poetry pen - thank you... with hugs and kindest thoughts Ann xx

Thank you for your kind comment Paul. It is a challenge to get the words right, that started with head trauma years ago, then increased to the heart and now this. I appreciate your visit and understanding :)

Heidi, nothing wrong with your poetry far from it. And if there are any issues who's got any right to criticise it. Hope things okay for you now. Tom

Thank you so much Tom. I guess there is worse problem with words, talking, than writing. (thankfully!). Because, I write all the time. I appreciate your comment.

Yes it is. And lack of coordination in the left leg and some in the hands, (but more so in the leg) make it very difficult. and the word issue drives me crazy! Thank you for your comment and validation :)

If this is true I am so sorry to hear this my friend. But your words always come out perfectly in your poems.

Hi Chris. Yes, it is true. I was in the hospital recently. I have had a heart issue for a while and I guess this is what caused it, will see. I am glad things are coming out ok in the writing, not so much in conversations, yet! Thank you so much, my friend :)
