Tinseled Moments of Love

Watching the festive tree light up the room I gladden like a tiding shifting from the present moment to the past Remembering the happy smiles that grew upon our faces as the season approached with all its glitter and bustle Tinseled moments overlaid as memories turn golden by the fitted hugs of mom and dad and all I held so dear Skies of reddish hue falling gently on the Christmas tree landing on a Child Of Love, nestled softly in a manger Breathing in the Hope, we sang with peppermint voices carefree as the wind that blew upon our Christmases As I recall the Christmastides of old I rejoice in the thought that the Christ of yesteryear, still still shines in me today. Hi Pixie - you describe Christmas exactly as I remember it and kept the tradition, love , the nativity, the tinsel, the joyous wrapping of gifts which brought everyone such surprises and most of all sitting down as a family to a festive Christmas lunch and pulling crackers and sprinkling love all over our home. I hope you Christmases are always blessed Pixie. Hugs, Jennifer.

- "we sang with peppermint voices" ... love this description, Pixie ... I can hear you sing :))) - A wonderful poem even though we are in November ...it will be a "weird" Christmas this year ... today the law says we can not have more than 3 guests ... (Coronavirus) - hugs // Anne-Lise :)

I pray that by Christmas we can still see our children, the way government is going, and the high numbers, we might be shut down by xmas, still I'm praying for better news.
